Gone Guys – Film Screening & Discussion

Gone Guys explores a “quiet crisis” in our communities, hidden in plain sight: the increasing disengagement and isolation of boys and young men. Set in rural Vermont, this documentary brings national data to life highlighting their struggles.

Drop-in Dads Group
Tuesdays from 5:00 – 7:00pm
- Weekly 2 hour group
- Check in with dads
- Discuss emergent topics
- Topics such as play, safety, literacy, routines, nutrition and health
- Men’s health- physical and mental
- Childcare and dinner is included

Drop-in Mornings
Every Monday – Friday, 9:00 – 10:00am
- Stop by the center for a cup of coffee and a chat

Playgroups
Monday and Fridays 10:30am -12:00pm
- For children 36 months and younger, and their male caregivers.
- Drop in at Vermont Fatherhood! No registration required.

Coaching & Mentoring
- Meet one-on-one to strengthen parenting skills
- Create goals and a pathway to achieve them
- Protective Factors for parents

Training Camp for New Dads
Offered several times per year
- 4 hour workshop for expectant dads
- Dads get real hands on experience holding, feeding and swaddling a baby
- Discuss preparing for the birth, the big day and first days at home with the family
- Change in lifestyle, change in relationship, safety and finances
- Building your network of support
